NEVER MIND ME..

Wow..the disease had just gone too far. Now the whole family of mine are in love with the Korean-based entertainment. I'm start thinking too...i asked a lot people who did received their scholarships to pursue their studies oversea on their targeted destination. Their answer were very similar. United Kingdom, Ireland or Australia. I really felt lit up to address my notion in this matter. If Mara did provide scholarship to do medicine in Korea, seriously dude..i'm going to have that in my hand. This is the special part of being an Asian. As we were so amazed about the people in the west, but the people in the west do envy us a lot. Why?

It's because i strongly believe that Asian people are far more creative in many ways. Take a greater look at the way we Malaysians or the Japanese move side by side with modernization and our culture. When we ask the community at the west 'What is your culture?'. Some of them will answer, 'Oh..we didn't have any. Why? Because we've killed our ancestors, the Red Indians a long, long time ago. That's why.' I'm sorry to say this, but my friend told me that i'm mad to fall in love with Korea and Japan, not with our own country. I answered, 'No i'm not. I'm fuckin patriotic. But i really hope that we can be like those Japanese or Koreans who are spreading their culture to every single corner of the globe through their entertainment and culturization.'

No wonder why Tun Dr. promoted the concept of Dasar Pandang Timur. Because he love K-pop too! Mwahahaha...masuk ISA laa lepas ni...

Hmm..I also love K-Drama but well, I personally think you are just beginner level fan. Once u go deeper, u will find K-drama sucks in its own way-all of them are sheer stereotype! Now, you see, the K-wave is subsiding, and now, i can see the bright future of malay drama thru the well-acceptance of Nur Kasih and Adamaya. Yeah, our dramas are no match for k-drama, maybe because we have so low viewers. In such circumstance, the producers are really afraid to invest more, resulting in cheap-looking and too cliché drama. It is not we don't have ideas but, we are afraid of marketing risk.

You must know that K-drama is accepted worldwide bcoz many various factors. One of these, maybe, because of physical appeal. Korean males are undoubtedly more good-looking than Malay males. Just imagine, how good an African drama is, will you still watch it passionately? Most foolish fanatic girl fans are going crazy bcoz the K-males are so good-looking. Another analogy is, will you watch an ugly girl who plays a beautiful lady role in a drama?

I will let you know. Full House, My Girl, Boys Before Flowers, Kim Sam Soon and many more got a very obvious trend- the love between a perfect man falls in love with a commoner girl. Don't you feel like want to vomit? For me certainly yes.

I have been taking part in a utube debate against Filipinos and Indonesians and guess what, they say we are inferior to them in terms of look. This is unacceptable but still, we cant be that chauvinist to deny it. Yeah, i am a Malay male but I am not a chauvinist. What is consider to be true logically, we cant refuse arbitrarily. Ironic isnt it? Well..

But believe me, as long as our country is not worshiped as one of the asian tigers, we cannot sell our entertainment worldwide actively. I hope you know the correlations better since u r a notable debater.

anonymous: notable debater?since when?hahahaha..ok2..since you've done enough effort to write those, i'll answer it..

1."i can see the bright future of malay drama thru the well-acceptance of Nur Kasih and Adamaya."

true2..malaysian drama has undergo a lot of transformation lately in term of the the way the story goes & graphics..

2."we have so low viewers"

i agree. but let's see on the other side of the road. if the Korean, chinese and japanese based drama can reach and be welcomed by a lot of people around the world, i believe there must be a way that we can do the same...there must be a way..

3."Korean males are undoubtedly more good-looking than Malay males."

it's true. And that's the problem that we have to settle ourselves. i've heard news that most of the actors undergo plastic surgery. in term of physical appearance, i believe that malaysian people also have an advantage. i really look at substance of the drama more than the physical appearance of the actors.

4. "I will let you know. Full House, My Girl, Boys Before Flowers, Kim Sam Soon and many more got a very obvious trend- the love between a perfect man falls in love with a commoner girl"

i once watched those and i hate watching drama due to the love substance that exist within, but i'm looking at the other different part of the storyline. exmple: boys over flower: i like the variation of clothes that were wore by them. man's fashion..

5."I have been taking part in a utube debate against Filipinos and Indonesians and guess what, they say we are inferior to them in terms of look"

first, wow..you did took part in a utube debate?cool..okay..of course they are superior in term of look as they have a higher percentage of citizens per capita leading me to believe that the percentage of finding good-looking people to incerase?isn'it? however..if you when to korea, you'll notice that most of the citizens there are not good-looking anyway..it's just the actor..

6."But believe me, as long as our country is not worshiped as one of the asian tigers, we cannot sell our entertainment worldwide actively."

i'm sorry but i really don't think that we need to be worshipped as the asian tigers first in order to sell our entertainment. Have you ever heard that the film Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa was sold to more than 20 countries worldwide?why?it's because they have what we call 'The Substance' in entertainment...in my perspective, i believe that once our entertainment is good, then we can only be considered as asian tigers not otherwise..

anyway..thanx!
